These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website www.tedandkip.com. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Information About Us
Ted & Kip is a sole trader independent business run by Mrs Anna Carroll-Smith. Our trading address is:
87 St Augustine Rd, Southsea, Hampshire, PO49AA
We do not currently have a telephone number for Ted & Kip.
Payment is required at time of ordering. Payments can be made either by PayPal or by credit or debit card through our secure payment system.
The majority of our items (excluding personalised items such as prints, or made to order items such as lampshades) will be processed and sent out within 3-5 days. Please allow 1-2 weeks for personalised and made to order items.
During busy times, such as Christmas, there is a possibility these times may need to be extended, however we will always send you and email after purchase if this is the case.
All additional fees and taxes applicable to international orders are payable by the customer.
All items are shipped using Royal Mail (or International Standard for international orders). Orders under £20 will be shipped untracked and those over £20 are usually sent tracked. Proof of postage is always obtained. Once shipped, an email notification will be sent to the email address you used when you placed the order.
Items are generally shipped on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (with the exception of bank holidays). If you order before 2pm (GMT) on those days your order will usually be sent out the same day.
A notice will be added to the website in the event that shipping is not possible for any extended period of time.
Royal Mail give estimated delivery times as follows. Please however bear in mind that these are only estimates and a number of factors may mean that delivery times are longer (things such as the time of year, delivery delays and customs).
UK: 1-2 business days
Europe: 5-10 business days
The rest of the world: 10-15 business days
If you require you item sooner you can upgrade your delivery method to an express service. Please contact us first in this instance to arrange this.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery details are given when they order. If you enter incorrect details then you will only be issued a refund (minus any postage) on the condition that the postal service return your undelivered order using the return postage label on the package.
If you are shopping from inside the EU please be aware that additional VAT requirements are now in place. Any additional charges plus any admin fees charged by your country are the responsibility of the buyer. If you wish to purchase with these fees included at the time of sale please follow the link at the top of the home page and shop our products from our Etsy store.
If goods are returned due to custom or other fees not being paid we will happily refund the order once received back minus any postage costs.
Cancellations, Refunds and Returns
We do everything we can to make sure that you love your Ted & Kip items, but sometimes things happen. We are happy to accept returns and cancellations, however we ask that if there is ever a problem you contact us first to see if there is anything we can do.
Please note: personalised items can not be returned unless faulty.
If you wish to make a return please let us know within 7 days and ship the item back within 21 days. Please email: email@example.com for a return address
Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs (unless the goods are faulty). Please make sure you use a recorded delivery service to return any items as we we not refund items that are lost in transit.
We ask that any returned items are sent back in their original condition, with all packaging included and any dispatch note. If the item is not returned in it's original condition, the customer is responsible for any loss in value.
If you receive damaged or faulty goods please notify us within 7 days.
Please email: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide a return address. We will arrange return postage (which we will cover) and a refund. Please note that no refund will be issued if the customer is unable to return the damaged or faulty item.
Sale and Seconds
Sale and seconds items are exempt from any returns or refunds. This is unless a sale item is faulty (seconds by their nature have faults so will not be refunded under any circumstances).
